The Prescale pressure measurement foil is an easy-to-use tool that exactly visualizes the distribution and magnitude of pressure between two surfaces.
The interior of the film consists of tiny microcapsules. The application of force breaks them locally and thus creates a precise picture of the pressure variations.
The Application:
- Place: Position foil between surfaces.
- Pressure phase: Apply the desired pressure.
- Analysis: Read the resulting pressure profile immediately.
Delivery Forms for Every Pressure Range
We offer tailor-made Prescale types for different pressure loads (from 0.006 to 300 MPa):
- 5LW (Ultra Extreme Low): 0,006 - 0,05 MPa
- 4LW (Extreme Low): 0,05 - 0,2 MPa
- Ultra Super Low: 0,2 - 0,6 MPa
- Super Low: 0,5 - 2,5 MPa
- Low: 2,5 - 10 MPa
- Medium (MW/MS): 10 - 50 MPa
- High: 50 - 130 MPa
- Super High: 130 - 300 MPa
Special form HT LLW: Temperature resistant up to 220 °C for hot applications.
